Stone is a type of follow-on work — not simply a date on a calendar. It depends on the section being ready after installation.
Follow-on works — stone, mirrors, glass, splashbacks and specialist surfaces — become actionable when the relevant joinery state is complete. A calendar reminder can mark intention. It cannot confirm whether installation is complete, whether templating can proceed, or whether the return visit will find the work ready.
Stone should be treated as a follow-on dependency in the operating model — not as a reminder disconnected from section readiness.
The useful question is not “when is stone booked?” It is “is this section ready for follow-on work — and for stone?”
